Turkish banking sector to offer over 10,000 jobs

Turkey’s banking sector is expected to add more than 400 new branches in 2010, supplying new jobs for over 10,000 people according to representatives of the banking industry.

Turkey’s banking and finance sector has demonstrated exceptional stability and resiliency throughout the global credit crisis.  Several Turkish banks, including Turkey’s two largest state-owned banks, Işbank and Halkbank, are predicting better economic performances in 2010 in comparison to 2009.
