Turkey’s exports keep increasing in July

Turkey’s exports continued their upwards movement in July, rising by 5.97 percent compared to one year ago, a moderate increase compared to double-digit growth rates achieved in the previous months, according to the Turkish Exporters Assembly President Mehmet Buyukeksi.

The increase in exports comes despite a more than 5 percent appreciation of the Turkish Lira in the past month, making Turkish exports more expensive. Automotive continued to be the largest exporting sector.
